I was reading this story  and thought " YES!" We will get you, you filthy pirates!! Yay! The only people who came hardcore for their nationals were France and the US. Those evil pirates were trying to steal aid for people in need, in fact their Somali countryman if I'm not mistaken.

Those dumbass'  actually vowed revenge on the US. The country that delights in sending out our military on exactly these kinds of things. My goodness these pirates dont realize what a public relations gift they are to our crazy generals by saying " We vow revenge on the United States". They have probably been made into a terrorist group, put on a watch, added to the FBI Most wanted list & right now some 4 star general in Pentagon is losing sleep because he is waiting for an executive order to kill kill kill the damn pirates who have threated the US.He's probably feeling orgasmic at the thought of sending out Navy Seals and other Special Forces trained for this type of thing.

I wish we did more rescue missions. I wish we could save Red Cross workers and hostages in the middle east and N Korea. I feel like we need a "Rambo" in this time of economic and social/ political turmoil. A caped vigilante fighting crime on the homefront would be pretty groovy also.

It doesn't need to be Batman or anything, just something to make us feel like the bad guys are getting their due.

Oh how I love Robert Downey Jr! He just says the darndest things. I hated Batman by the way and it made my heart glad that Robert Downey Jr also thought they tried to damn hard. You know I was wondering about the same issue he did. At the end ...Batman has to be the bad guy....why? WFT?  But let me allow you to read the link to the RDJ interview.
